Everything begins with my grandfather called Manuel. He used to work for a lock factory called Elefante, this factory was one of the pioneers in Argentina. My grandfather together with a co-worker and after several years of working there, they decided to retire and founded their own company called Van-Dos. They began manufacturing different products similar to the ones they used to do before as employees, and over years they managed to develop new products for themselves. At that time, Van-Dos became the most successful and recognized company in the Argentine market.
At the age of 18, my father Jorge got the opportunity to meet Longobuco who was one of the most important clients of Van-dos. My father was asked to produce locks for safe deposit boxes, which at that time was hard to get, material must be imported from Europe and it was not in the plans of Van-dos. To not let go of the opportunity, my father decided to start his own company, and here's when Jaque was born.
The business started using the only electric motor my father had access, to which it was the one used on the house to get water from a well. The new factory was located in the backyard of his father's house, in a small shed where little by little he began to manufacture those locks for safe deposit boxes.
In addition to producing in Jaque, as an engineer my father specialized not only in mechanics, but in advising companies on security as well. This way my father was able to grew Jaque and managed to expand their invertory until in 1993 when myself, Miguel at the age of 18 decided to resign my job and became part of the family business.
I've been part of Jaque evolution for 29 years. I've seen the company grow from 5 to 70 employees, lived the process of expansion and projection to new markets and still maintaining the values ​​of my dearest grandfather Manuel.
Today, after 57 years, Longobuco who seeded the idea still actively buy products from Jaque and both my father and I continue to push back to back for the success of Jaque and Gaab as the first day of our journeys.

Gaab Locks LLC is a third-generation family owned and operated business, founded by one of the shareholders of Blincer S.R.L. A leading manufacturing hardware industry since 1965 producing locking devices that comply with all safety requirements.
Gaab begins when Miguel realizes that in order to access the markets in the north of the continent, such as the United States of America, it is mandatory to be physically in the region, in some state where you can have inventory and quick access to the entire Caribbean as well as to the countries of Central America, where these countries can be connected with our products. This is why he decided to start the company in Florida, where there is access to multiple services for cargo movements, whether for export or import, based on the fact that the factory is also in South America, and we do not depend on overseas suppliers. Little by little we are adapting our products and creating new ones designed specifically to meet the demand.
Our distribution and assembly center is strategically located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to serve the US market, Central America, and The Caribbean.
